Mr. Adams joined Astrocyte Pharmaceuticals’ Board of Directors in December 2025. He brings more than 30 years of experience in investment management, alternative assets, and capital markets. He currently serves as Partner at MintPharma Capital and Mint12, a specialized alternative investment management firm focused on real estate lending and equity strategies. Under his leadership, Mint12 oversees multiple real estate credit and equity funds, with a disciplined approach to risk management, capital preservation, and long-term value creation.
Prior to founding Mint12, Mr. Adams established Fluid Capital Management in 2010, where he managed a range of alternative investment portfolios across asset classes and market cycles. Earlier in his career, he spent nearly two decades as an interest rate derivatives trader at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, where he managed substantial proprietary and investor capital and developed deep expertise in market structure, portfolio risk, and macro-driven trading strategies. He began his professional career at Deloitte Haskins & Sells after graduating Cum Laude from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.
Mr. Adams resides in Boca Raton, Florida with his wife and four children. He is an active supporter of youth and collegiate athletics, particularly the lacrosse community, where his three sons competed as student athletes at the collegiate level.
